How to choose

P2P allowed can mean every server or only some. Where it's some, the apps mark the P2P servers, and you connect to one of those before you open the torrent client.

Port forwarding lets other peers open a connection to you. Without it you can still download, but you reach fewer peers and seed less.

Turn the kill switch on. Many torrent clients can also be bound to the VPN's network interface, so they stop instead of carrying on outside the tunnel if it drops.
