How to choose

The advertised price is the first term only. A two-year plan at a low monthly figure is paid upfront, then renews at the renewal price, often yearly and often several times higher.

Month to month costs more per month but never jumps. Over three years it can still come out ahead of a long plan with a steep renewal, which is why the chart adds the renewals in.

Renewal is automatic unless you turn it off. Note the date the first term ends.

Worth knowing. Intro prices are what the ads show. This list adds the renewals. Providers that don't state a renewal price aren't ranked, because we won't guess it.
